Camp Hill State Infants and Primary School offers a comprehensive music program as part of our extensive Arts Program. Students learn to read and write music, play various instruments, sing and play games by participating in weekly class music lessons under the guidance of a specialist teacher. They can join one of three choirs – Infants (Yrs 1and 2), Junior (Yrs 3 and 4), and Senior (Yrs 5 – 7). An exciting feature of the program in 2008 is the production and performance of a musical. Students can also learn to play an instrument through the string or instrumental program which then gives them the opportunity to perform in the String Orchestra, Beginner Band or Combined Schools Band. Our music program is supported by parent volunteers who are essential to the smooth running of performances.
