The Camp Hill State Infants and Primary School P&C Association is made up of a group of enthusiastic and dedicated parents who work throughout the year to provide resources to enhance the learning of the children at our school. It is a non-profit organisation with money raised going to the school for a variety of purposes. Our energetic fundraisers organize fetes, raffles, sausage sizzles and a variety of other activities to provide the funds needed to assist the school in providing quality education for all. Members of the P&C and parent community have written grant applications and been successful in gaining funds to air condition classrooms in the primary campus, to add extensions to the Active Learning centre in the Infant Campus and to provide a pool cover and water tanks for the school. Grant applications help to provide large sums of money for specific projects to improve our school environment and the parents who take on these tasks make a huge contribution to our community. The P&C Association also run a uniform shop on two mornings a week, provide tuckshop facilities three day a week and run outside school hours and vacation care to help working parents. The P&C also run a swimming club which is open to children within the school community and also those from other schools. Swimming club is held on Friday nights from September until April. The P&C Association meets on the second Wednesday of each month in the Primary Campus Staff room at 7.15 pm. OSHC Committee meets on the Monday prior to the P&C meeting, as does the swimming club committee (from August to May). The AGM for the P&C Association is held at the March meeting each year. |
