Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Camp Hill State Infants & Primary School. The school is situated in the inner eastern suburb of Camp Hill and draws its students from a number of Brisbane suburbs. Currently, there are over 680 students from Prep to Year 7.

In 2006, Camp Hill State Infants School and Camp Hill State Primary School, situated on adjoining sites, merged as one.

The identities of both schools have been retained in the name and the character of the learning environment and traditions have continued in their respective locations.

The merge has provided opportunities to better align the curriculum and teaching across the campus and for the school community to work together.

Our school curriculum is based around eight key learning areas and delivered through class programs that are tailored to be developmentally appropriate and intellectually challenging for individuals. Learning experiences are active, inquiry-based and lots of fun.

The school promotes an active, healthy lifestyle with an emphasis on participation in sport and the arts. We are proud of our students’ achievements in a range of sporting, music, art and leisure activities.

We look forward to working with you to provide a supportive learning environment for your child.
