CHSIPS School Council Parent Representative nominations

The Camp Hill State Infants & Primary School (CHSIPS) School Council was established in 2014 and is comprised of elected parent and staff representatives.  The function of the School Council is to guide the broad strategic direction of the school by:

a)    monitoring the school's strategic direction;
b)    approving plans and policies of the school of a strategic nature and other documents affecting strategic matters (including the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure for the school);
c)    monitoring the implementation of the plans, policies and other documents mentioned above and;
d)    advising the school's principal about strategic matters.
We are calling for nominees for election to one of our parent representative positions. The election will be held at the next P&C General Meeting on Wednesday 16th November 2016.  The position is available to any parent of a child at CHSI&PS.
In order to be considered for the role, the nominee must be nominated by two (2) P&C members - this can be done in person at the P&C meeting.  If the nominee is unable to attend the P&C meeting they must submit a written nomination signed by the nominee and two nominating P&C members.  (Please forward all written nominations to or drop them at the P&C office on the Senior School Campus (next to the Uniform Shop) by Monday 14th November 2016.
