Camp Hill Soccer Champions

It was a memorable day at St. Martin’s School Soccer Carnival Day on Friday 23rd June. The Elite Soccer Academy squad prepared well and were ready to go from the start. With a squad of 14 players (mixed boys and girls), this was the carnival to shine, and shine they did.

Through quality play across the park, Camp Hill were first to score in every game. The defence was solid, midfield tireless and forwards clinical in front of goal. Finishing top of the carnival group, Camp Hill were confident heading into the Grand Final. They played a very strong St Bernard’s team who never gave up and scores were locked at full time. Nervous moments awaited both teams as penalty shoot-outs came into play. Thomas, Ethan and Jake all scored amazing penalties and it was left to the final player from St Bernard’s to equal the score. He missed and Camp Hill became carnival winners for 2017.
What a great day for Camp Hill S.I.P.S. A massive thank you to all the amazing family members who turned up and supported our soccer players throughout the carnival.
