To our wonderful Camp Hill families
What a challenging term it has been, far removed from our normal school routine.
As Term 2 started, a worldwide lockdown began due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an event that will make history and will be spoken about for generations to come. Teachers learnt many new skills through developing digital learning platforms, allowing students to work from home. Parents managed home schooling for their children alongside working from home, while often also managing younger siblings!
Our students have displayed much independence in meeting the challenge of learning during this global pandemic. They returned to school eager to see their friends and teachers, engaging in a range of curriculum with enthusiasm and curiosity.
Many of our key calendar events have had to be cancelled - Fun Day, Easter activities, ANZAC Day, choirs and musical performances and Athletics Carnivals to name but a few. However, the community has come together in unique ways to ensure celebrations can continue, events can be interpreted in different ways and people can reach out to each other in new ways.
Please enjoy our celebration of learning this term with this visual presentation (link below). There is much to be celebrated as our students continue to develop, learn and engage with the world. Our school extends our thanks to you all for your ongoing support through these challenging times. We hope that you all have a safe and happy holiday.
