Wednesday First break - Senior Library Years 3-6

Code Club provides an opportunity for Primary students to engage in digital activities with like minded peers. It is an informal group, often changing from week to week, of Year 3-6 students who come at break time to create, collaborate and develop their digital literacy skills.

A range of activities, including visual programming in Scratch, Minecraft Education, robotics are available each week. While the group is facilitated by our Teacher Librarian, it is often the students who are the leaders in sharing their knowledge and skills.

Some weeks we may all be trying something new, such as animation in code, whole other weeks students choose to finish a project they have commenced earlier. We have an extensive collection of How to Code books in our Library which students may borrow to create at home.
