Prep

​​​​​​​​​​Prep is the first year of school and provides the foundation for ​your child's education. It is compulsory for Queensland children to undertake Prep prior to Year 1. Prep is a full-time program in primary schools and the Australian curriculum.

To enrol in Prep, children must be aged five by 30 June in the year of proposed attendance.

Early or delayed entry to Prep options may be considered in specific circumstances and only where it is in a child's best educational interest.

Expressions of interest for Prep are accepted via email from the first day of Term 1, the year prior to your child commencing Prep. You are more than welcome to complete the Expression of Interest Form with the understanding that acceptance of all Prep enrolments will be confirmed when a Letter of Offer has been issued, later in the year.

To enrol at Camp Hill State Infants and Primary School all students must have:

• ​A birth certificate or registration of birth or passport.
• Evidence of any medical conditions of which the school needs to be aware.
• Details of any specialist care given, e.g. speech therapy, paediatrician.​
  
• Proof of residency/citizenship status and visa (if from overseas).
  

All catchment enrolments must be accompanied by proof of residency documentation (e.g. electricity account). If you are unsure of your eligibility for catchment area enrolment, please refer to the map of phone the school office on (07) 3900 9333.
