Our School

Camp Hill State Infants and Primary School (CHSIPS) was established in 2006 following the amalgamation of Camp Hill State School and Camp Hill Primary School. Since then we have become an Independent State School with a school council.

Our school has been the site of ongoing education since the commencement of the Mt Bruce State School in 1926.

We are very proud of our school and we invite you to explore CHSIPS through our website.

The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) and its committees, uniform shop,  tuckshopoutside school hours care and student council generously support endeavours to supplement standard allocations of teaching and learning resources, which is very much appreciated.

Our Koalas

We have koalas that have a real liking for the line of trees between the school and the road on Old Cleveland Road. It seems that they use our school as a staging post between larger patches of bushland such as those at Seven Hills and Whites Hill.

We are keeping a log of koala sightings and passing the information on to the Daisy Hill Koala Sanctuary.

If you come across a koala on the school grounds, please inform us. The rangers at the Sanctuary are keen to know the following: when the koala was seen (time and date); where it was spotted and the relative health of the animal. A photo would be the icing on the cake!
