Parent volunteers, except for 'restricted persons', are still able to volunteer at Camp Hill State Infants and Primary School without a blue card.
Under the new changes, any parent (including those who have legal guardianship) who is a 'restricted person' is not able to volunteer within the school in any capacity. A restricted person is a person who:
- has been issued a negative notice, or
- has a suspended blue card, or
- is a disqualified person, or
- has been charged with a disqualifying offence that has not been finalised, or
- is the subject of an adverse interstate working with children check decision that is in effect.
