At Camp Hill State Infants and Primary School, we are committed to supporting every student's learning journey through a comprehensive approach to assessment and monitoring. Our teachers employ a variety of summative assessment tasks, monitoring strategies, and tools to diagnose learning needs, measure student achievement, and inform teaching practices. Assessment is consistent across all year levels and is strategically planned at the beginning of each unit.
Additionally, students in Years 3 and 5 participate in the national assessment program—Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN), providing further insights into their academic development and performance.
Our Whole School Curriculum, Assessment, and Reporting Plan ensures a cohesive and progressive sequence of learning across all year levels. Assessment, and reporting processes are guided by the department's commitment to “Excellence in teaching and learning in every state school, for every student".
