The Queensland Virtual STEM Academy (QVSA) is an innovative program designed to inspire and challenge high-achieving students in Years 5 and 6 with a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Delivered online, the program provides access to advanced, inquiry-based learning opportunities that go beyond the standard curriculum, fostering critical thinking and creativity. QVSA offers a range of engaging courses and projects, developed in partnership with leading universities and industry experts, to explore cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence, environmental sustainability, robotics, and biomedical science. Students work in a virtual classroom with like-minded peers from across Queensland, guided by experienced educators and STEM professionals. The program is inclusive and flexible, allowing students to participate alongside their regular school studies.
