The Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) learning area in the Australian Curriculum helps students explore and understand the world they live in, both past and present. It encompasses History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship, and Economics and Business, providing students with the knowledge, skills, and values to become active, informed, and responsible citizens.
